Planning A Memorial Reception...
If you find yourself in the sad situation of planning a memorial reception let us first offer our condolences. From personal experience, within our own family, we know what a stressful time this can be. The most difficult part of planning the memorial reception is finding a location and caterer quickly and trying to estimate how many friends and relatives will attend.
We are here to help simplify the process.
Whether the reception is held in your church hall, in your home, in a rented facility or right here at Deer Park Villa, we can take care of it for you from set - up to clean - up.
Buffet menus include non - alcoholic beverages, coffee & dessert station, service staff, linens and tableware.
Deer Park Villa...
Available for private events everyday. The restaurant and grounds provide indoor and outdoor areas for groups of 50 to 350 guests.
There is no area rental charge for memorial receptions, although "Celebration of Life" ceremonies performed on our grounds require a 2.00 per person fee to compensate for the set-up of the ceremony, public address system with podium, and overtime on the staff.
During warm weather months, ceremonies may be held in the Redwood Grove (capacity 300) or on The Terrace (capacity 100). During winter months the interior of the restaurant accommodates groups up to 220.
All food and bar service is provided in-house. The following details the style of menus most often requested for memorial receptions. A buffet menu offers flexibility in accommodating for extra guests, should they attend. However, we will customize the menu and service to fit your needs.
